Chicagoland Fishing, Travel & Outdoor Show in Schaumburg is in the books, and we can’t even begin to count the number of familiar faces we saw there. It was terrific to catch up midyear with the many guests who were here in 2017 and are heading back up in 2018. Seeing all that gear makes everyone pretty anxious to get up north. We also crossed paths with prior year guests who have missed their time up on beautiful Lake Vermilion, but think 2018 is the year they will get to come back up. Lastly, we met some great folks that set up their first Lake Vermilion trip for the upcoming season. We appreciate all of you!
Next on the schedule is the FishX Show, in West Bend, WI at the Washington County Fair Park February 9 – 11. This is the first time at this show for us, but it sounds like a good option. Admission for attendees is FREE.
We are kicking off our 19th season at the resort. One of the best parts about crossing paths with previous guests at these shows is when they share their stories of big fish caught, fun things they did while here and memorable times spent with family members and friends. Sometimes we laugh so hard we almost cry. Take time to make these memories.
May 12th Opener is just around the bend, and another week filled up today, so if you are thinking about a trip in 2018, now is the time to finalize your plans.
