Regular rain continues and the grass
remains green. The lake level is as high as its been about
average. It seems the walleye bite has improved this past
week. Fish remain on main lake humps. We've had two nice
trips where the bite was consistently good.
Muskie fishing is pretty good. Eric
and Bob Larson boated seven fish last week. Eric got a PR
with a 52. They each lost a few as well.
Smallmouth bass have been caught along
island shorelines. Leeches and artificial baits have all
worked.
Looks like it's going to cool down a
little this week. Highs in the low seventies.
