We continue to get rain regularly even
though it seems they are warm fronts. Temperatures during
the day have remained in the high 70's and low eighties.
Water temps have been in the 70's. The grass has remained
very green. There have been many nice days to spend at the
pool or out on the water.
Fishing has been up and down. Walleyes seem to be getting
much better this week. Some have been caught very shallow
while others have been caught in 16-20 ft. Leeches and
crawlers and crank baits have worked the best.
Muskies have been seen on the shallow
rocks in packs. A few have been boated on top water
baits.
Smallmouth bass have also been caught
using crank baits off points and reefs.
