Summer walleye patterns have arrived
already. Main lake humps have been producing from 15 to 30
feet on night crawlers. Big Bay mayflies have hatched and
the bite has been good the last several days. Water temps
are now in the high 60's. Small
mouth bass have been consistently good even when the
walleyes were uncooperative. Leeches and crank baits have
been producing in shallow rocks.
Seems like the northern turned on
recently with reports of many fish being caught in the
weeds. A few small muskie have been caught trolling.
