The weather Saturday and Sunday was
spectacular. Highs in the sixties and seventies and not much
wind. The fishing could have been better. Fish were
scattered and deep in the 25-30 ft range for the most part.
A slow and steady rigging presentation worked for us, and
you have to keep moving until you find fish. Saturday water
surface temps were in the low fifties, but much higher by
Monday approaching sixty in the bay.
We had a really great group at for opener
again, and I hope they all had some fun. It sure appeared
that they did. Every one managed a fish fry by the end.
