The weather for both March and April has
been unseasonably warm and sunny. We could use some rain.
Fire dangers are high and several have been put out on the
Iron Range. The closest was in Embarrass about 20 miles
south of us. 60% chance of rain on Thursday and Friday
though. We need a soaker.
The ice came officially off the lake
on April 6th, a new record. This may make May a great month
for fishing. The last time it was like this was in 2000.
Great fishing in shallow water that spring.
We're working on various projects to
get ready for the season. Staying very busy. Pool upgrades,
bathroom upgrades and tree removal has been lately on the
forefront of my daily agenda.
