Coolness has returned and the walleye
bite continues to get better. Water temps are in the mid
60's. Most fish are being caught on lindy rigs with crawlers
or leeches in 20-30 feet. Seems the fish are getting more
aggressive.
Smallmouth bass have been decent on
senkos, tubes and plastic crawfish baits. Scott Campbell
released a 4.5 lb smallie last week. Most fish were still
relating to docks and points.
The cold weather has pushed the muskie
deeper. Prime windows should provide the best possible
chances. Weather this week in the 70's should possibly get
them moving during the afternoon.
