Some muskies have recently been boated
off the rocks. More fish have been seen. Quite a few
follows. Another front is moving through, so the water temps
have dropped back into the sixties.
Walleye have mainly been caught off main
lake sunken islands with crawlers and leeches. Some have
also been caught shallow in the evening.
Smallmouth bass have been pretty
consistent off points in shallow 5 to 6 feet. They're eating
crayfish. So those type of colors have been working best.
Northern have stayed in the shallow
weeds. It's hasn't been hot enough yet to drive them deeper.
