 Cold Fronts

2009-06-30

After experiencing another really warm week with excellent fishing for walleye and small mouth, a nasty cold front arrived and slowed things down. Last week the Tolenos and Wagners did very well trolling. Many big 20+ walleyes were caught as well as some they could eat.

On Saturday cooler and very windy conditions arrived to slow things down. Some nice walleye have been caught, but not as many numbers. The water temps went from 74 to 61 in a couple of days.

Saw a few muskies that had little interest the other day. We went back at dusk and didn't see them at all. It'll be better soon.

If a trip north is in your plans, give us a call at 800-249-3178.

May your pole always be bent! Dave
