Opener was a great success this year as
many caught limits of walleye at various depths on minnows.
The cloudy weather on Saturday made for ideal conditions.
Water temps were in the high 40's.
Fishing slowed by Wednesday as a front
was passing through with big wind. Woke up this morning to
28 degrees, frost and a dusting of snow.
