This past week most of the fishing was a
little slower for some reason. Some days were real good
while other days were not. The week before was better. Part
of it was cold front related that produced very little if
any rain. Water temps continue to be in the low to mid 70's.
We've had really dry weather and the lake is down below
average. Many walleye in the
21-25" range were caught over the llast couple of weeks.
Some of the notable walleye were John Conrad and Drew
Szumski with 23 1/2 and 23 respectively. John also released
a 22" walleye. This week Jordan Janzig released a 25 1/2
walleye and Melanie Bieri did as well. Roland Morris
released a 24 1/2 walleye. Shane Ferris released a 22" and
Jared Janzig released a 21 as did Joey Klinger. Tom Bieri
released a 21 1/2. Paul Madison released a 25". Dieter
Schmidtke released a 20. Most were caught on crawlers or
leeches.
The week before last Jimmy Falk
released a 23" in smallmouth. The biggest we'll see all
season. He did well under docks. Drew Szumski released a 19
and John Conrad released a 18. Bill Fitzgerald released a 19
as did Bruce Henderson. Bill Werhane released a 19
largemouth.
The muskie action was pretty
good the week before last. The list looks as follows:

This week was a little slower David
Vana boated a 42 and his guest boated a 47. I boated a 40"
northern and Spencer Morris did as well this week.
