Walleyes have improved the past couple of
weeks from the prior weeks. Cranks, crawlers and leeches
have all caught fish in 14-20 feet of water. Ali
Miller released a 24 day before yesterday. The heat of the
past week has brought the water temps up to the mid to high
70's. Smallmouth have taken on a
more normal pattern on points and shallower water. Spinners
and jerkbaits have worked.
Muskies and northern have been on and
off lately. Boated a 47 on the rocks and Bob Rasmussen
boated a 51 out of the weeds recently. Dave Eichelberger
boated a 47 1/2 on Sunday. Doesn't seem to be a time that is
better consistently.
